Join the Kratt brothers and learn how the natural eating habits and appearance of Monarch butterflies serve as defense mechanisms against their predators and help other butterflies to survive too! Viewers learn that as caterpillars, Monarchs eat milk weed, which can be poisoness to other animals, and thus keep them from eating the butterflies. They also learn that the Viceroy butterfly has the advantage of mimicry of the look of a Monarch, and as a result, their predators stay away!
